At Kidictive Inc. (“Kidictive”), our websites (www.iamkidicted.com and www.kidictive.com) are designed for adults, while our mobile app KIDICTED™ (the “App”) is designed for use by children under adult supervision (collectively the “Services”).
We take privacy seriously and this policy is designed to share what information we collect and how we use it.
What Kind of Information May Be Collected?
There are two types of data that may be collected through our Services. The first one is called personally identifiable information. This is personally identifiable information provided to us by adult users that identifies a user as an individual. The second type is non-personal data which doesn’t directly identify an individual or which may have been personal information but has had the personally identifiable information removed.
Children Under the Age of 13
Kidictive takes protection of your family’s personal information very seriously. Kidictive will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 (the “Child User”). To download, pay for, register and create a Kidictive account on the App, you must be 18 years of age or older (the “Parent/Guardian User”). Any personal information collected from a Parent/Guardian User or a Child User as disclosed in this policy is done so with the consent of the Parent/Guardian User.
For a Child User to use the App, you must be logged in as the registered Parent/Guardian User. The App does not allow a Child User to make any personally identifiable information provided by a Parent/Guardian User publicly available.
The App requires a closed network message system between the Parent/Guardian User and Child User to complete core functions of the App. Parent/Guardian Users always have full access to the Child User messaging centre. Child Users cannot be contacted through the closed network messaging system by any third parties or strangers and cannot message with anyone other than the Parent/Guardian User.
If you believe we may have obtained personally identifiable information from a Child User, outside of this policy, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will investigate and delete any such information.
There are no third-party ads directed to a Child User or third-party analytics applications used in the App.
If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
